Speaking of faith: Orthodox Christianity

If you have not listned to Speaking of Faith on NPR yet, you don’t know what you are missing. I starting listening to this program a couple of months ago and think it is very relevant for those of us who are concerned with issues surrounding faith. It has also helped me be enriched spiritually, and better understand the spiritual perspectives insights of other religious perspectives.

This podcast has special significance. My ancestors on my mother’s side imigrated from the Ukraine in the early part of the twentieth century. They were Russian Orthodox. This has helped me understand one perspective on Eastern Orthodox Christianity.

Click here to listen (you will need real player to listen). If you have iTunes, you can sign up for the Speaking of Faith podcast and listen whenever you want.  I prefer to listen while I am working out.

  1. Hey Chris. Speaking of NPR, do you ever listen to Car Talk? Seems like something you would enjoy!
